Defibtech Lifeline AED package price: $1,541.50 to $1,721.85 by build
The Defibtech Lifeline AED Package starts at $1,541.50 at AED Leader and Response Ready (30 September 2026) with the 5-year battery, rising to $1,721.85 with the 7-year DBP-2800 and the DCF-A130 build; both stores sell all four builds. The package is $62.70 over the bare device and the nine-seller table below shows every price.
What is included in the Defibtech Lifeline AED package
Every Lifeline package build includes the Lifeline AED (DDU-100) with adult pads and the battery installed, a carry case, a wall cabinet, a first responder kit, a 3-way sign, a wall poster, an inspection card and a window decal. The builds differ only in battery (5-year DBP-1400 or 7-year DBP-2800) and whether a pediatric pad set is added; read the SKU, not the package name.
Quick answer
A Defibtech Lifeline AED package costs $1,541.50 to $1,721.85 at AED Leader, verified 30 September 2026, depending on which of four builds you pick. The same package name covers four builds: semi-automatic or fully automatic, with the standard 5-year or the high-capacity 7-year battery. The $180.35 spread between the cheapest (DCF-A100-EN-VP, $1,541.50) and the dearest (DCF-A130-EN-VP, $1,721.85) is configuration, not discount. Response Ready sells all four builds at the same prices. The bare Lifeline device is $1,478.80, so the package premium is $62.70 for the cabinet, carry case, wall sign, decal, inspection card and responder kit.

AED Leader and Response Ready prices checked 30 September 2026; other sellers checked 1 October 2026 (Bound Tree, HeartSmart and AED USA could not be read and keep their 19 September 2026 price). Package contents differ between sellers, so compare the included list below before comparing the number.
Read the SKU, not the package name
One package name, four builds. AED Leader and Response Ready both sell all four. The SKU tells you which device and which battery are in the box, read from the AED Leader configurator on 30 September 2026.
| SKU | Device | Battery | AED Leader price | Who it is for |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| DCF-A100-EN-VP | Lifeline, semi-automatic (shock button) | DBP-1400, 5-year, 125 shocks | $1,541.50 | The default: trained responders, standard duty |
| DCF-A110-EN-VP | Lifeline, semi-automatic | DBP-2800, 7-year, 300 shocks | $1,598.15 | $56.65 buys two extra battery years; cheaper than a second DBP-1400 ($229.10) inside eight years |
| DCF-A120-EN-VP | Lifeline AUTO, fully automatic | DBP-1400, 5-year | $1,660 | Untrained bystanders, settings where nobody will press a button |
| DCF-A130-EN-VP | Lifeline AUTO, fully automatic | DBP-2800, 7-year | $1,721.85 | Lowest-maintenance fully automatic build |
Before you treat a price gap as a saving, confirm which build the quote refers to. Ask the seller to state the full SKU in writing. A package price is only comparable when the SKU underneath it is the same.
The package against the bare device
The Defibtech Lifeline on its own is $1,478.80 to $1,659.15 at AED Leader, verified on our Lifeline review. The package adds $62.70 on every build and includes the wall cabinet (sold alone from $135 at AED Leader), carry case, wall sign, window decal, inspection card and first responder kit. That is one of the smallest package premiums in the category and less than the cabinet costs on its own.
Lifeline against Lifeline VIEW
The most common mistake on this family is buying the wrong model. The Lifeline and the Lifeline VIEW are different devices at different prices.
| Lifeline | Lifeline VIEW | |
|---|---|---|
| Package price | $1,541.50 to $1,721.85 | $2,077.75 |
| Device price | $1,478.80 to $1,659.15 | $2,024.95 |
| Screen | No | Full colour video screen |
| Coaching | Audio prompts | Video rescue coaching |
| Ten year consumable cost | About $834 (five DDP-100 pad sets at $75.15, two DBP-1400 batteries at $229.10) | About $896 (five DDP-2001 pad sets at $83.05, two DBP-2003 batteries at $240.45) |

Compiled from the AED Leader and Response Ready package pages and the seven other sellers above on 19 September 2026. Sellers do not publish a cross-seller comparison, so this is the only place the lists sit side by side.
Our verdict
The Lifeline package is one of the best-value new AED bundles we track. A $62.70 package premium over the bare device is less than the cabinet alone, so the case, kit and signage are effectively free. The eight year warranty is also the longest on any device in this comparison.
Two cautions. First, choose the build deliberately: semi or fully automatic, 5-year or 7-year battery, because four builds share one package name. Second, the ten year running cost of about $834 sits mid-table, so this is cheaper to buy than a ZOLL AED Plus package but more expensive to feed over a decade.

Defibtech Lifeline AED package price: the four builds, 22 September 2026
The Defibtech Lifeline AED Package costs $1,541.50 to $1,721.85 at AED Leader, and the price depends on two choices: semi-automatic or fully automatic, and the 5-year or the 7-year battery. All four builds carry the same 8-year device warranty.
| Build | SKU | Shock button | Battery | Price |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Entry build | DCF-A100-EN-VP | Semi-automatic, you press the shock button | Standard 5-year | $1,541.50 |
| Long-life battery | DCF-A110-EN-VP | Semi-automatic | High capacity 7-year | $1,598.15 |
| Fully automatic | DCF-A120-EN-VP | Fully automatic, the device shocks on its own | Standard 5-year | $1,660.00 |
| Fully automatic, long-life | DCF-A130-EN-VP | Fully automatic | High capacity 7-year | $1,721.85 |
The 7-year battery costs $56.65 more and runs two years longer, so it is the cheaper choice per covered year. Check the build prices at AED Leader or Response Ready.
Defibtech Lifeline package: what is included
Every build arrives from AED Leader with the same eleven items, which is what separates the package from the bare device at $1,478.80.
- New Defibtech Lifeline AED (DDU-100 series)
- Pads and battery, pre-installed
- Carry case
- AED wall cabinet
- First responder rescue kit
- AED 3-way sign
- AED wall poster
- AED inspection card, the I-Tag
- "AED On-Site" window decal
- User manual
- 8-year warranty
Bought separately, the cabinet alone is $135.15 and the rescue kit $20.40, so the package premium of $62.70 over the bare device is less than the parts it adds. Check price at AED Leader or Response Ready.
Frequently asked questions
$1,541.50 to $1,721.85 at AED Leader and Response Ready depending on build, checked 19 September 2026. Across nine sellers the range is $1,523.99 (Bound Tree, 19 September 2026 price) to $2,339.99 (AED Superstore Complete Value Package with alarmed cabinet, 1 October 2026).
Because the same name covers four builds. AED Leader sells all four, from the semi-automatic DCF-A100-EN-VP at $1,541.50 to the fully automatic 7-year-battery DCF-A130-EN-VP at $1,721.85; Response Ready sells the same four builds at the same prices. A gap between quotes is a different build, not a discount, until the SKUs match.
Yes. The bare device is $1,478.80 and the package is $1,541.50 on the same build, a premium of $62.70. The matching Large AED Cabinet alone is $135.15 at AED Leader, more than the $62.70 package premium, so the other items cost you nothing extra.
Buy the Lifeline if your responders are trained or refreshed regularly. Buy the VIEW at $2,024.95 if they are untrained and unlikely to be trained, because the VIEW adds a full colour video screen that coaches the rescue visually rather than by audio prompt alone.
About $834 over ten years in pads and batteries (five DDP-100 sets at $75.15, two DBP-1400 batteries at $229.10 at AED Leader). That is mid-table: cheaper than a Philips OnSite at about $894 but more than a ZOLL AED Plus at about $330.
Yes. It is approved through premarket approval, PMA P160032. AEDs are FDA-approved via PMA, and it is a prescription device.
Prices verified through the public product APIs of AED Leader and Response Ready on 30 September 2026 and from each competing seller’s published page on 1 October 2026 (sellers whose pages could not be read keep their 19 September 2026 price).
